Jameel Motors, a leading provider of mobility solutions and a trusted partner for top automotive brands, has entered into a distribution agreement with Zhejiang Geely Farizon New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (Farizon Auto), the commercial vehicle division of Geely Holding Group, a leader in China’s new energy commercial vehicle market. This collaboration marks Jameel Motors’ commitment to advancing the transformation of the mobility sector and is part of an extensive international partnership across multiple markets.
The agreement focuses on distributing Farizon Auto’s innovative range of new energy vehicles in the UAE, including the all-electric Farizon SV model. Farizon Auto is recognized as China’s first commercial vehicle brand to offer a complete range of new energy products, spanning heavy trucks, light trucks, micro trucks, LCVs, and buses.
The standout model in Farizon’s lineup is the Farizon Supervan, which sets a new benchmark in the electric commercial vehicle segment. This van offers the largest interior space in its class, providing exceptional cargo capacity. Designed with cutting-edge technology, the Supervan features an intelligent driving assistance system with continuous Over-The-Air (OTA) upgrades, ensuring the vehicle remains at the forefront of innovation. The system includes Advanced Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Control (LCC), offering an enhanced driving experience. Additionally, the Supervan boasts a no B-pillar design, allowing for wider side access, making loading and unloading more efficient. Its electric platform guarantees zero carbon emissions, contributing to a cleaner and more sustainable environment.
This distribution agreement is Jameel Motors’ first venture into the UAE market, which boasts a population of nearly 10 million. By introducing sustainable mobility solutions in the UAE, Jameel Motors aims to solidify its presence in the region, aligning with the company’s broader growth strategy. The vehicles are expected to be available for purchase in the first half of 2025.
