UAE start-up Sulmi has introduced the EB-One, the first electric motorbike fully designed and manufactured in the Emirates.
This high-performance electric bike was launched today at the Gitex 2024 exhibition.
The EB-One boasts a top speed of 150 km/h and can cover 300 km on a single charge.
It features a 10.4 kW battery that can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in just one hour.
In addition to its aerodynamic design, the EB-One comes equipped with a digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, and a USB charging port.
Sulmi, part of the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP), aims for this bike to revolutionize the two-wheeled transport market in the UAE and beyond.
The research and development for the e-bike took place at the Sharjah Open Innovation Lab, a government-supported initiative designed to keep the emirate at the forefront of technological advancements.
