e& and Nokia Bell Labs were honored by the SAMENA Council with the ‘MEA Business Technology Achievement Award’ in the ‘Innovative Collaborations and Partnerships’ category, recognizing their significant contributions to advancements in AI and R&D across various industries.
The MEA Business Awards celebrate a wide array of technological achievements spanning sectors such as telecommunications, AI and machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing, satellite technology, robotics, and e-commerce.
This accolade highlights e&’s ongoing commitment to AI innovation, particularly through its recent collaboration with Nokia Bell Labs. This partnership combines Nokia Bell Labs’ cutting-edge research and innovation with e&’s in-depth market and industry knowledge.
Recently, e& launched the #AI4SD platform, developed in collaboration with UNDP and MBZUAI, which utilizes AI to help countries and NGOs better predict and respond to natural disasters. Nokia Bell Labs, a leader in Responsible AI, has established six guiding principles for future AI research: fairness, reliability, privacy, transparency, sustainability, and accountability.
