The Digital Dubai Authority, responsible for leading the Emirate’s digital transformation, has announced an exciting new partnership with KAOUN International. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Tuesday at GITEX GLOBAL 2024, marking a significant collaboration with the renowned organizer of business events and trade fairs.
With KAOUN International managing all local and international GITEX events in conjunction with its global partners, this partnership will strengthen the Digital Dubai Authority’s presence within the entire GITEX ecosystem. The collaboration aims to explore new international technology markets through GITEX events while also providing support to KAOUN International in exhibitor and sponsorship roles.
Together, they will contribute to the ongoing growth and success of major events—including GITEX AFRICA, GITEX EUROPE, GITEX ASIA, and GITEX GLOBAL—through 2025 and beyond, while also identifying future collaboration opportunities.
His Excellency Helal Almarri, Director General of the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, stated, “The global strategic partnership between Digital Dubai Authority and GITEX represents the beginning of many collaborations aimed at sharing and developing capabilities within the international digital community, creating a universal knowledge economy. This synergy has the potential to positively impact the digital roadmaps of many countries and will showcase Dubai’s coordinated approach as a global digital hub.”

Together with KAOUN International, we aim to enhance Dubai’s global reputation as a model for digital cities. We value their expertise in organizing world-class events and view this partnership as crucial to achieving our shared objectives, aligned with the Dubai Digital Strategy, to reinforce Dubai’s status as a global digital hub.”
The primary goal for both Digital Dubai Authority and KAOUN International is to support Dubai’s internationalization strategy while showcasing its vision for digital development, achievements, and expanding global partnerships.
