Saudi Arabia’s rapid digital transformation is changing what businesses expect from their technology providers. Connectivity and infrastructure remain fundamental, but organizations across the Kingdom are increasingly looking for integrated solutions spanning artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, 5G and the Internet of Things.

Against this backdrop, Salam is expanding its B2B offering with the launch of Salam B2B 2.0, bringing a wider range of technology and managed services under one portfolio.

Announced at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, the new offering reflects a broader shift in Salam’s business strategy, with the company looking to move beyond its traditional role as a telecommunications and IT services provider and take on a wider role in enterprise digital transformation.

What is Salam B2B 2.0?

At its core, Salam B2B 2.0 brings together technology services that businesses and government organizations increasingly need as they modernize their operations.

The portfolio includes AI, 5G, cybersecurity, cloud computing, managed services, professional services, hosting and IoT, alongside Salam’s existing connectivity and infrastructure capabilities.

The idea is to give organizations access to multiple technology capabilities through an integrated offering, covering everything from connectivity and infrastructure to implementation and ongoing management.

This is particularly relevant as Saudi companies and government entities undertake increasingly complex digital transformation projects, where technology systems need to work together rather than operate as separate solutions.

A wider focus across Saudi Arabia’s key sectors

Salam’s expanded B2B strategy is aimed at a broad range of industries that are undergoing significant technology-driven change.

These include healthcare, education, government, hospitality and tourism, logistics, banking and financial services, sports and entertainment, energy, aviation, and defense and security.

The needs of each sector are different. For example, financial institutions require robust cybersecurity and cloud infrastructure, while logistics companies are increasingly using connected technologies and IoT to improve operations. Government organizations, meanwhile, continue to digitize services and build more connected platforms.

Salam’s broader portfolio is intended to address these different requirements while giving organizations access to connectivity, technology infrastructure and digital services through a single provider.

From connectivity provider to technology partner

The shift is significant for Salam because it expands the company’s role beyond its traditional telecommunications business.

Abdullah Khorami, who leads the B2B strategy, described the change as an evolution from providing connectivity and infrastructure toward becoming a broader digital transformation partner.

“For years, Salam has operated as an IT services provider, supporting enterprises with essential connectivity and infrastructure needs. Today, we are evolving into a full-spectrum digital transformation partner,” Khorami said.

The strategy also comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is continuing to build its digital economy as part of Vision 2030, creating opportunities for technology companies that can support businesses and public-sector organizations through the transition.

Why the B2B shift matters

For enterprises, digital transformation is no longer simply about adopting new technology. Organizations also need to integrate systems, protect data, manage infrastructure and ensure that new digital services deliver measurable business value.

That has increased demand for technology providers capable of handling multiple parts of the digital ecosystem.

Salam’s B2B 2.0 strategy reflects this changing market. Rather than focusing on a single technology category, the company is bringing together connectivity, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, 5G, IoT and managed services as part of a broader enterprise technology proposition.

Khorami said Saudi Arabia is entering an important stage in its digital development, adding that organizations driving this transformation need partners with the expertise and integrated solutions to support their ambitions.

As Saudi Arabia’s digital economy continues to develop, Salam B2B 2.0 represents the company’s attempt to broaden its role in that ecosystem — moving from connecting organizations to helping them build, manage and scale their digital operations.
