The implementation of smart technologies provides numerous benefits, such as smoother traffic flow, cleaner air, effective waste management, and improved public safety. These advancements rely on tools like the Internet of Things (IoT), AI-driven analytics, 5G, and cloud computing. Advanced satellite technologies, particularly Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), also enhance smart city capabilities.
Understanding SAR Technology
SAR satellites employ radar to generate detailed images of the Earth’s surface, functioning effectively in any weather and at any time. By analyzing the reflected signals, SAR detects changes in surface features, making it invaluable for monitoring environmental conditions and managing disasters.
